About the Maison

About the Maison

Rivière Valmont was founded in 1983 in Geneva by a single watchmaker with a single conviction: that a well-made watch should not require an explanation.

For 41 years, the Maison operated without advertising, without retail chains, and without public sales. Every watch produced was supplied to a small network of private boutiques in Geneva, Lyon, and Amsterdam. Access was by introduction or by chance.

The Maison never compromised on movement quality, case finishing, or the standard of the man it made watches for.

Why This Release

In 2024, the Maison completed its final production run: 847 watches, regulated by hand, tested against the Maison's historical standard, and packaged for boutiques that no longer operate.

Rather than warehouse them indefinitely, the Maison has made a singular decision: to release the final stock directly to the public at 80% below the boutique price they were built to carry.

This is not a promotion. This is the end of a 41-year chapter — offered directly to the men who deserve to wear it.

The Craft

Every Rivière Valmont watch is built to a specification that has not changed in four decades: 316L surgical-grade steel, sapphire-coated crystal, Japanese precision movement, BGW9 luminova indices.

After This

When the 847 pieces from this final run are gone, the Maison closes. No restock. No new collection. No return.

"Worn by few. Remembered by all."
